I have to say, I didn't think about it like that before, but I would hope they don't use designer clothes (or at least make it look designer) if Carrie couldn't afford that in high school. However, I believe AnnaSophia looks completely believable as a young Carrie; I think she looks like a young Sarah Jessica Parker, so it works. Anyway, the show still hasn't been picked up officially, so I guess we'll just have to wait and see if this happens for real.Hii,

Sex and the City Prequel Series
The CW is producing a Sex and the City prequel series based on the book The Carrie Diaries and it’s not news exactly but last month it was announced that the actress AnnaSophia Robb will play the role of Carrie Bradshaw.
So What do you think about the actress and the series?
My personal opinion: First the actress is ok but she’s too pretty to play a younger Carrie. If you read the book, you know that the funny thing about her is that she wasn’t beautiful and she didn’t dress well because she didn’t have money, she was creative when came to clothes. I’m sure that if this series actually happens she’ll wear high heels, D&G clothes and etc and the books are not about that, It’s about a normal teenager trying to be somebody. The Feeling that I have is that they’re making this series only to get new fans, not really for the true fans like me.

Really? I think Sarah Jessica Parker is one of the ugliest woman in the world. But does she know how to dress or WHAT?! She KNOWS what make-up works for her, what hairdo compliments her, what she needs to do to look her best. I think she plays that very well, it's like a talent. But pretty per say, no.
